Evangelist K. Joy David Samuel is the founder of Grace Intercontinental Mission and a passionate ambassador of Jesus Christ. His life is a testimony of divine grace—a journey that led from corporate success to full-time ministry through an extraordinary encounter with God.

👪 Humble Beginnings Rooted in Faith

Born on August 18, 1984, into a devout Christian family with Telugu roots, Joy was raised under the spiritual guidance of his parents, Pastor K. Aaron and Pastor K. Mary, who served as missionaries in Raichur, Karnataka.

From a young age, Joy witnessed the sacrifices and perseverance of ministry life. Though his parents hoped all their children would serve in ministry, Joy initially chose a different path—working to support himself and reduce the burden on his family.

🎓 Hard Work and Worldly Success

Balancing night shifts in call centres while studying full-time, Joy climbed the corporate ladder with relentless determination. Eventually, he secured a high-profile role at Microsoft R&D, earning an enviable salary, enjoying global travel, and living a life of comfort.
But God had other plans.

🚍 The Turning Point — April 8, 2016

While traveling to visit his parents, Joy’s bus met with a devastating highway accident. The vehicle rolled off the road and crashed onto rocks. While 45 passengers were seriously injured, Joy walked away without a scratch.

When a stranger witnessed his compassion and said, “Only Christians can forgive their enemies,” Joy was convicted. He realized his survival wasn’t due to luck or strength—but to the grace of God and the faithful prayers of his parents.

That moment changed his life forever.

Our Impact

By God’s grace and through the help of our partners and volunteers, we have:

- Distributed thousands of meals and clothing items
- Mentored at-risk youth and supported families in crisis
- Launched global outreach efforts in underserved communities
- Built relationships that restore dignity and inspire hope

On July 3, 2016, Joy was baptized, committing his life fully to Christ.

Just two years later, in August 2018, he left his career, comfort, and home behind—moving to Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, to begin full-time ministry.

Evangelist Joy’s ministry is focused on:

Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Restoring broken lives through faith and compassion
Training and discipling future leaders
Reaching the next generation with truth and hope

Despite many challenges, he continues to walk in obedience, empowered by the Holy Spirit and committed to building the Kingdom of God.
